Gravity Picks

Gravity Picks offers two different materials: Acrylic and PEEK.

Their main line is made of acrylic, which is unique in its stiffness and its glassy polish. Many players who are trying to play a little bit faster love acrylic for these reasons. However, beginners often benefit from learning with a pick that has a bit of flex to it.

Their premium line, the Gold series, is made of PEEK. This material is sometimes regarded as a high-end or boutique material for making picks, and in recent years it has increased in popularity. PEEK has just a bit more flex than acrylic and is overall very highly-regarded. So if you do try out some Gravity Picks, make sure to also try out the Gold Series.

Our Take:

✗ Cons
  • none

Material: Acrylic (Man-made)

Acrylic is made differently than other plastics. It feels smooth and glassy to the touch. The picks tend to be a little bit on the stiff side.
