Dunlop Teckpick Picks

DSC05973-dunlop-teckpick.jpg

Dunlop Teckpick is a really cool idea for a bomb-proof guitar pick. Made out of metals like brass, they will probably never wear out. Unfortunately, that also means they will inflict substantial wear on your strings.

Metal picks can also create tinny noises as the pick contacts the string. There's a reason they never quite caught on.

Another cool thing about this pick is the three holes drilled in it. You could even wear it around your neck if you were so inclined.

  • Solid picks made from aluminum or brass
  • Beveled edge surprisingly good for picking
  • Literally indestructible
  • Cool gift for guitar players
  • Pleasant mass and heft
  • Can be attached to keychain (holes pre-drilled)
  • Always have a backup pick
✗ Cons
  • Likely to wear out strings faster
  • Very different tone from traditional picks
  • Heavier than normal picks
  • More of a novelty than a serious playing pick
  • Can still lose it (not magnetically attached to you)
