Dunlop Celluloid Picks

Guitar Pick

Celluloid picks are relatively common and tend to run a little bit on the thinner side. They can be fragile and are ordinarily used mostly for strumming.

There are better materials available today for strumming (nylon, or even carbon fiber); and these picks are generally not much good for lead.

Our Take:
✓ Pros
    ✗ Cons

      Material: Celluloid (Man-made)

Celluloid was once popular probably because it *looks* like tortoiseshell, but it really doesn't behave like it. In fact, compared to modern plastics it tends to be soft and brittle. Overall, it's not the ideal material for a guitar pick.
