New to Guitar? Learn These Six Chords

If you’re new to guitar, take the time to learn and master these six chords. This could take a little while. Some of them you may not be able to play right away, but most learners can play them all within a few weeks.

If a chord is particularly difficult, try constructing it one note at a time, first only playing and fretting that note. Add strings one by one until you’ve got them all.

You should also endeavor to memorize the chords, and learn the notes inside of them.
