Sight Reading Introductory Exercise 3

Chords

This simple exercise uses basic open chords. Play the chords first.

Melody

The highest note is “G” which can be played either on the III^rd fret of the high E string, or on the VII^th fret of the B string.

Position

This should be read in Position I or Position V. (In the open position or at the V^th fret.) It is recommended to read it in both positions.
