This exercise consists of two interwoven melodies, an example of counterpoint. Play each melody separately. If you really want a challenge, try combining them together.

Rhythms

This example also features a number of eighth notes, so be sure you know how to perform them correctly before continuing. If necessary, review some lessons on rhythm before continuing.
